LeasePlan Go – End-to-end implementation
Successful European roll-out of Solifi’s end-to-end sales processing
Background
With the European corporate fleet finance sector static at the time, LeasePlan recognised the huge potential of entering the small fleet sector.
Challenge
Moving from a B2B environment to a B2C marketplace was a massive undertaking for the organisation. It meant a change of culture, a major branding exercise, a move away from a direct sales force and a management refocus to ensure the implementation of a new solution across multiple countries would be successful.
The main barrier to entry was the enormous degree of change necessary, including the implementation of new workflow systems in support of intermediaries such as dealers, brokers and banks, plus a self-service direct channel.
An enormous degree of change was necessary.
Solution
CALMS (Solifi) covers the full lending lifecycle from prospecting through to quotation, application entry and credit scoring; from work queue management to document management, contract activation and customer retention. All are fully supported by an underlying Business Process Automation Engine.
The aim of the upgrade was to enable users to originate, adjudicate and document transactions in minutes. Solifi was selected as a partner and Leaseplan’s solution built around the CALMS (Solifi) Business Process Automation Engine and Information Collection Engine components. It also has integration into a bespoke Point-of-Sale Front-Office system.
Enabling users to originate, adjudicate and document transactions in minutes.
Results
Leaseplan Go is now operating in Spain, Portugal, Germany, Greece and Norway after a considerable project in managing the implementation timeframe as well as the multi-country support. However, the bespoke configuration of the Front-Office system allowed for integration with the existing SalesForce CRM system and allows communication with the Back-Office systems and web services.
